The posterior nasal scale is almost equal to the first cheek scale; the anterior cheek scale is taller than the posterior cheek scale, and the anterior cheek scale is only 1/3 the length of the posterior cheek scale. There are 7 or 8 scales on the upper lip, the fifth or sixth is under the eye, and the last one is larger. 1 chin scale, 2 posterior chin scales. The frontal scale is hexagonal with straight sides, its length is equal to its distance from the tip of the nose, and it joins the first three supraorbital scales. There are 4 supraorbital scales and 8 epiciliary scales. The frontal and parietal scales are approximately equal to the interparietal scales. The parietal scales meet behind the interparietal scales. There are 3 pairs of neck scales.
