The Pacific Tengu can be bred, but successful breeding in aquariums is rare. Because the difference between males and females of the Pacific Tengu is usually only very obvious during the breeding period, under normal circumstances, it is not easy to notice that the Pacific Tengu is in the breeding period. Then there is the Pacific Tengu hanging to prey on the eggs that are laid.

So, I usually do a good job of observing the Pacific Tengu, and quickly transfer the eggs to other tanks after laying them, so as to prevent the eggs from becoming adult Pacific Tengu hanging food. In terms of feeding, plankton can be fed for the first ten weeks. After ten weeks, the juvenile Tengu can return to the aquarium to live with the adult Tengu.
