It is recommended that the water temperature for raising Tomson hangings should not be lower than 30℃, and the pH value is 8.1-8.4. Keeping Tomson hangings requires an activity space of no less than 350 liters of water, as well as the creation of various caves for hiding.

Tomson hangings mainly feed on zooplankton, crustaceans and fish eggs. Seaweed, vegetables, frozen fish and shrimp meat, invertebrates, and high-quality plant-based marine fish feed containing seaweed can also be prepared. It is recommended to feed 3 times a day.
