Cottonmouth disease. Symptoms: A white cotton-like mycelium grows on the snout of the red skirt fish with this disease, which is difficult to feed and swims slowly and weakly.

Treatment method: use oxytetracycline to make a concentration of 1/100,000 the water solution, soak the red skirt fish in it until the symptoms disappear. Aquariums, fishing nets and other utensils should be immersed and disinfected with 0.1% formaldehyde solution.

Or immerse red skirt fish in 5/100,000 bright green solution once a day for no more than 1 minute each time.
