How to raise tent tortoises:
1. Temperature: Although tent tortoises belong to desert tortoises, they cannot adapt to large temperature changes. When feeding tent tortoises, the temperature needs to be controlled between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius. Tent tortoises hibernate if the temperature falls below 18 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is above 35 degrees Celsius, tent tortoises can become dehydrated or even die.
2. Feeding: The diet structure of tent tortoises is very similar to that of cattle, and they need to be mainly vegetarian when feeding them. You can feed some weeds, pastures, and cacti. You can also feed some vegetables or other plants. Be careful not to feed fruit or other foods high in sugar.

3. Water quality: Tent tortoises do not have high requirements for water quality, because they mainly live in survive on land. Make sure to have enough clean drinking water when feeding.
4. Lighting: Provide enough light for tent tortoises. It is necessary to ensure that the time to be exposed to light is not less than 3 hours a day.
5. Ventilation: Tent tortoises like to live in a dry environment, so pay attention to creating a dry environment when feeding. It is best to place the tank in a well-ventilated area. Note that the humidity in the tank should not be too high, and it can be controlled between 40% and 50%.
