The Chinese soft-shelled turtle can be raised in deep water. However, the water level of the turtle pond needs to be controlled. Generally, it is enough to be 40 cm. If it is too small, you can appropriately add some water in the turtle pond, but the water level cannot exceed one meter.

In addition to the water depth requirements, the water is generally changed in about three days. Once, the water temperature must be controlled at about 20 degrees, because this is more conducive to the growth of Chinese soft-shelled turtles.
