How Sulcata tortoises hibernate

When the temperature drops below 10 degrees Celsius, the Sulcata tortoise will slowly go into hibernation. Throughout the hibernation period, the head, tail, and limbs of the Sulcata tortoise will be enclosed in the shell, the eyes will be closed, and they will not eat, move, or even defecate.
