The reticulated python is not poisonous. After knowing whether the reticulated python is poisonous, we will introduce its living habits.

The reticulated python mainly lives alone in tropical rain forests, woodlands, grasslands and swamps , can enter water, sometimes appear in villages, and attack livestock. It wraps around trees to rest during the day, and comes out to hunt and move at night. Its eyes can only see the outline of objects in motion, so they are mostly stationary in one place, waiting for opportunities to prey on passing animals. However, the lip socket between its upper lip scales is very sensitive to infrared rays, and can distinguish the temperature change of one thousandth of a degree Celsius at a distance of 3-4.5 meters. This makes the reticulated python's predation success rate extremely high, and it is generally difficult for prey passing in front of it to escape. When they hunt, they hang their prey and then swallow it whole. After a reticulated python has preyed once, it can stop eating for several days.
