In severe cases, the dog loses all body hair and is weak and anemia. Canine Allergic Dermatitis. Diagnosis is mainly based on the detection of live parasites on the surface of the dog, flea feces and lice eggs at the root of the hair, and sudden itching, licking, and barking in dogs. Treatment includes deworming with topical insecticide solution, oral flea medicine, and subcutaneous injection of ivermectin (note that this medicine is sheepdog, such as Su Mu, Sheltie and Bianmu are prohibited, which can easily cause poisoning or even death), and anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory treatments should also be taken. Commonly used drugs are Merial's Freen drops, Novartis' Kxing Du Flea oral medicine, and some reliable quality deworming collars and topical baths. Usually pay attention to the cleanliness of the environment, regularly disinfect and kill insects, and use a vacuum cleaner to remove the eggs from the cracks and corners of the floor.

Second, canine skin bacterial infection, also known as canine pyoderma

Most cases are caused by Staphylococcus intermedius. The clinical manifestations are skin pustules, small pustules, folliculitis, skin folds and pyoderma dry. Diagnosis mainly depends on skin smear, bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test. Treatment is based on bacterial culture and drug susceptibility test results to choose topical antibiotics and systemic antibiotics. Generally, erythromycin, metronidazole, gentamicin solution, baiduobang ointment, etc. can be applied externally, and antibiotics can be injected systemically, such as: lincomycin, bayry, cephalosporin, etc. or oral cephalexin, clarithromycin, etc. Retinoic acid-amoxicillin, etc.

Commonly known as ringworm, is the most common skin disease in dogs, the main pathogens are Microsporum canis and Microsporum gypseum. The disease is a contact infection, zoonotic, and susceptible to young age, old age, thinness and immunodeficiency. The most typical symptoms are alopecia, round scaly patches; there are also erythematous epidermal patches or nodules that are not alopecia, no dandruff but local papules, pustules or raised. Due to the diversity of its lesions, it is easy to be confused with other skin diseases. Diagnosis is mainly by microscopic examination for the presence of fungal spores, Wood's lamp examination, or fungal culture. Dermatomycosis treatment is mainly topical application and systemic medication. Topical medicines include clotrimazole, ketoconazole, Xingxingjing, etc., and systemic medicines include Xinghuanjing oral tablets, Novartis' Healthcare oral tablets, and anti-inflammatory and anti-ringworm baths; and some traditional Chinese medicine baths. The main attention to the treatment of fungi: ① prevent the spread and transmission to other animals or people. ②Insist on medication to prevent recurrence. The drug is still required for 1-2 weeks after the skin surface symptoms have fully recovered. ③ Pay attention to environmental disinfection. For dog utensils and kennels, drugs can be used: such as 0.5% sulfide lime solution, 0.5% chlorhexidine solution for scrubbing and soaking. The metal cage can also be burned with a flame blowtorch.

There are many reasons for dogs' skin diseases. Usually, we should pay attention to the hygiene of dogs and do not take dogs to unclean places, which are breeding grounds for bacteria. Don't let a healthy dog play with a dog with a skin disease.
