dogsreasons for fighting:

1. Status Competition: Dogs and wolves originally belonged to the same ancestor. Although they have evolved over a long period of time, they still retain their original social habits. They fear leaders and try to protect their companions. When a new member of a nearby dog group appears, the dogs not only smell each other to get to know each other, but sometimes bite to establish their status.

2. The dispute over food and toys: domestic pets do not need to worry about insufficient food, but dogs are also possessive about their favorite things. If they want to snatch it, they will guard it without hesitation.

3. Spouse disputes: When there is a female dog in heat, multiple male dogs are likely to bite because of the right to mate.

4. Owner disputes: Dogs regard every member of the family as a part of their own group, so they play and live with humans. When owners pet other dogs or show concern, they rush up to bite other dogs.

Before a dog fight:

He holds his head high, his ears stand up, the fur on the back of his neck stands up, and his tail doesn't wag, like Standing tall like a stick... These body postures are all signaling to the other party that they are strong.

If the dog on the other side is frightened at this time, it may wag its tail and beg for pity, or even lie on the ground with its tail tucked and turn its belly, then usually there will be no war at this time. If the two dogs have been in such a stalemate, they will inevitably have to fight to compete.

How to prevent dog aggression:

1. When unfamiliar dogs come into contact with each other, both owners should fasten their leashes. Let them get to know each other first.

2. Try not to distribute food or play games of picking up toys when many dogs get together to play, so as to avoid conflicts between dogs due to competition.

3. Male dogs should try to avoid bitches in estrus when they go out to play, which can effectively avoid fighting, and also don't have to worry about accidental mating.

4. For dogs with strong jealousy, owners should try not to touch other people's dogs in front of them.
